In 2003 my father asked me to join Tampa Bay Pools as vice president of sales and marketing. I had 10 years experience in the hotel industry working in various areas of customer service. The previous five years, I was director of sales with Wyndham Hotels located in Charlotte NC.

Transitioning from the hotel industry to the pool construction industry might seem like a huge jump, but customer service is the same in any industry. If you treat your customers right, then you know the word will spread and the business will grow. I already knew that with my father's experience building pools, and my brother's business background, my job would be easy. I would simply need to keep the salespeople informed, make sure that we sold with integrity, and keep the process and procedures in place to keep "customer service" foremost in mind. This applies from the initial customer call all the way through the final walk thru. Consistency, quality and service are what makes us #1 in the Tampa area.

More info: I have been married to my lovely wife for 10 years and have a beautiful 7 year daughter. Like my brother, I have been coaching locally in various sports, including soccer and baseball. Tampa Bay Pools has been sponsoring local sports teams for several years now. I have also been a member of Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce in years past.
